I facilitate workshops based on my book, Journey to the Mountain Within. I have over 30 years experience working with marginalized youth and families throughout the United States and Canada. Currently I am working on a documentary regarding the healing process of formely incarcerated Latino men. My second book, Tortilla Soup of the Soul, will be released towards the end of 2021.

Hi Luis! It’s been many years but I recently came across the article I wrote in the Los Angeles Times about your first Whitney trip. I’m no longer with the Times but I see you wrote a book! That’s so great. I’ll put it on my reading list.
